Born in 1953, illustrator in Hamburg, Germany
 
Following his graduation as a graphic designer, Münk was for a long time art director at a major advertising agency in Hamburg until he became self-employed in 1993. His computer-generated illustrations have since then become widespread as bestseller covers, magazine titles and visual interpretations for major brands.
